ABOUT THE PRINTS

Only commissions of public and or historic buildings of interest are considered for commissions.

In a word yes.

My work is carved on linoleum or wood which are both natural products. Lino is also biodegradable.

Printing is done with traditional linseed oil based inks and the cleaning process is carried out with vegetable oil.

Apart from a light layer of plastic film for waterproofing purposes and packaging tape, all my packaging is paper based and therefore recyclable or compostable.

My work is designed, carved and hand printed by me. I decide in advance how many I will produce, for example I might print an edition of 20 prints. Each completed print is then given a number between 1 and 20.

Sometimes I design and print small postcard sized pieces with the aim of printing and selling them on an ongoing basis. This is usually because they are priced low to sell quickly. These prints are still hand printed and signed by me.

I aim to ship within a week of an order being placed and if possible sooner than that. It's important to me that each print posted is waterproof and safe from accidental damage during transit. In order to do this I often hand make packaging for each print.
